Requiem sharks are migratory sharks found in warm coastal waters and coral reefs. They are 3-18 feet long, grey or brown with round eyes, have blade-like teeth with single cusps and five gill slits. These strong swimmers feed on sharks, rays, squid, octopuses, lobsters, turtles, mammals and sea birds. The young ones are born fully developed. Lifespan is 8-20 years.
