Rescuing Naughty Tinkerbell

Peter Pan had flown in through the window of Mr and Mrs Darling’s house one night and been chased out by their large dog, Nana, who guarded their children— Wendy, John and Michael. But unfortunately, his shadow got left behind. So, the next night, he returned to look for his shadow. Wendy woke up and stitched the shadow on for Peter Pan and they became friends.
Peter had a little fairy guardian named Tinkerbell who became very jealous of Peter’s friendship with the children. However, Peter wished to take Wendy to his home in Neverland, so that she might meet all the little lost boys who lived with him. Much as she disliked Wendy, Tinkerbell sprinkled magic dust on all of them and helped them to fly with Peter.

Peter Pan had an old enemy, a pirate chief named Captain Hook, in Neverland. He had been defeated by Peter once in a fight and had fallen into the river where a crocodile bit one of his hands. Captain Hook survived but he wore a hook on that hand. He was very angry and was waiting to take revenge on Peter. Also living on Peter’s island were some Red Indians.
When Captain Hook kidnapped a Red Indian princess, Wendy and her brothers helped to rescue her. But Captain Hook captured Wendy, her brothers and all the little lost boys, and was going to punish them badly. Tinkerbell knew that Captain Hook had brought some poison. She didn’t wish Peter to bring Wendy and her brothers back. When Peter set off to rescue Wendy and the others, she tried to stop him.
However, Tinkerbell was very fond of Peter Pan and when she saw that he would definitely go, she drank the poison. Peter saw she was dying and wept bitterly, unable to save her. Then she whispered, “If children believe in fairies, I will live!”
Peter immediately went into the dreams of all the little boys and told them to clap loudly if they believed in fairies. The boys began to clap and Tinkerbell soon became conscious and survived. She helped Peter to rescue Wendy and everyone else. Captain Hook lost his balance and fell into the river where the old crocodile had been waiting. And that was the end of Captain Hook.

Peter had decided to take Wendy and her brothers back to their own home where Mr and Mrs Darling and Nana were waiting for them. This time Tinkerbell helped Peter Pan and she was never again jealous of Peter’s friends.
