Then it crossed 15000 land mark. Many thought that it had peaked at that level. But the share market experts were in for a surprise. It kept its upward journey to the gleee of share holders, mainly those of Reliance groups. Meanwhile this unprecedented bull run was making Mukesh and Anil richer and richer. At last the figure crossed 20000 mark and bull continued to push upwards. But what it meant exactly to Ambani brothers?
Mukesh Ambani
Reliance Industires Limited has made Mukesh, the richest Indian and amongst always ten or five of the world. The BSE upsurge pushes him up to the top slot in world ranking in riches. Many a time the pepole thought he had become the richest man of the world. But it was disclaimed later beacuse this was due to fluctuating Sensex figures. But in near future he is bound to be No. One in the world ranking of the richest at a stable level.
For his flagship RIL Mukesh earns around Rs. 1000 in a second in which his share is Rs. 10 a second.
The financial year 2006-07 report of RIL revealed that the salary of Mukesh had increased by Rs. 5 croes to make it gross Rs. 30.46 for the year.
The net profit of RIL had reached Rs. 11,943 crores. The business of RIL group increased by 32% to reach gross figure of Rs. 1,18,354 crores. RIL is the first Indian company having a market cap. of nearly Rs. 4 lac crores.
Anil Ambani
Although domestic figures show Anil far behind his elder brother but they could be far misleading. The companies in his group are making nice progress and share market bull run is making him richer by the second and day. Sometime ago the gross figure of his groups annual business had been pegged at Rs. 90,000 crores.
According to international market figures Anil Ambani is not far behind his elder brother. He is also amongst 10 top richest persons of the world and close to his brother only $2-3 billion separating them. Anything can happen at any point of time.
