The Sacre-Coeur Basilica is a Roman Catholic Church built in Paris, France, between 1875 and 1914. The Sacre-Coeur is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and serves as a political as well as cultural monument. Built on the highest point in Paris, the Butte Montmartre, the church itself is 83 metres in height. It is constructed in travertine stone and is built in Roman and Byzantine styles of architecture.
