Santa Claus and his elves had been working hard all year long making toys for the children of the world. They wrapped them and packed them in neat packages before putting them in Santa’s bag. Then it was 24th December, the day before Christmas. That night, Santa Claus had to deliver Christmas presents to all children. But he had fever and body pain due to tiredness. He couldn’t get up from his bed all day long. Santa’s doctor had advised him a week-long rest. He became very worried and was wondering what to do. Suddenly, he heard a loud sound of a broomstick, “Whisshh, Whoosshh, Whisshh!” Out of nowhere, the wise old witch of the fairyland appeared in front of him. “I heard about your illness and came here right away with a magic potion,” she said. Santa’s granny gave him a magic potion to drink. Within a few minutes, he was all well. “Thank you so much and Merry Christmas,” said Santa before leaving to distribute presents to children.
