Princess Sarah spent so much time reading books that she had very little time to play. So, she had no friends. One day, she sat with a storybook under a large tree in the garden. It was all about some friends who had an adventure on an island. “I wish I too had a friend and adventures,” she wished. “What’s so difficult about that?” said a voice. She looked around and could see nothing except a red squirrel near her. “Did you speak?” she asked. “Of course,” replied the squirrel, “Come; I’ll show you my house!” Off went the squirrel into a hollow and Sarah followed. She found that she could squeeze into the hollow. Beyond it was a meadow with many little cottages. One belonged to the squirrel and the others had squirrels, bunnies and birds living in them! Sarah had found not one but many new friends.
