Finally the day had come–the day when Woopy Crocodile had to go to school. But Woopy Crocodile was not looking forward to it. He kept making excuses of having a toothache or tummyache. Woopy was not looking forward to going to school because he did not know anyone there. Second, unlike other crocodiles, his tail was curly like a spring. In the school, everyone introduced himself. When it was Woopy’s turn, he felt very nervous in case he was teased because of his tail. But no one made fun of him. Everyone was smiling, not laughing. Feeling relieved, Woopy sat down. At playtime, a little frog hopped over to him and said, “Excuse me. Would you like to come and play with me and my friends?” Woopy was surprised and happy at this offer. He had a lovely time!
