Sheikh Chilli was often scolded by his mother. Soon, he started thinking that it was a normal act of parents. One day, he went to get some vegetables. On the way, he saw the parents of a child scolding him for not studying enough. Sheikh smiled and went on. After some distance, he saw another kid crying because his mother was unhappy with his messy habits. Sheikh felt a little tired, so he sat down under the shade of a tree. He saw a small child coming along with his parents, smiling happily. He asked the parents, “Why are you not scolding your child? Why are you not frowning at him?” The parents were quite shocked at this silly question. They asked him why he asked them that. Sheikh said that he had always seen children getting scolded by their parents. The kid’s mother said, “Son, parents scold children because they love them the most. Parents don’t want their children to suffer due to bad habits or stupid behaviour.” That put Sheikh deep in thought!
