Seashore is also called an oceanic coast or a sea coastline or marine coastline. It is a broad area of land along the edge of a sea or an ocean. This is the area where land meets a sea or an ocean. The total length of the seashore all over the world is more than 700,000 km. However, some seashores are not present along the edges of the islands or the continents. They are present at the inland water-bodies such as in the Caspian sea and the Dead sea. The different kinds of seashores are: cliff seashore (surrounded by tall upright rocks), beaches (gentle sloped edges covered with sand) and coral shores (lined by corals).
