The Sequoia National Park is a National Park home to the General Sherman Tree.It is located in Sierra Nevada, California, United States. It was established in 1890.
Why it is special: The Sequoia National Park covers 1,635.19 sq.km areas of varied natural habitats, including Mount Whitney, which is the highest point in the contiguous 48 United States, and the humungous sequoia trees. Amongst these trees, is the General Sherman Tree–the largest tree on the planet.
