It is a medium-sized carnivorous African wild cat. The serval is spotted black on a tawny fur, with two or four stripes from the top of the head down the neck and back, transitioning into spots. No two cats have the same markings. The serval has the longest legs of all cats. They were worshipped by ancient Egyptians.
