Shipwreck

Roma was on a cruise ship, when there was a storm, and the ship began to sink. Roma grabbed her backpack and rushed to the deck. However, a huge wave crashed into the ship and capsized the lifeboats. She quickly took out the inflatable rubber dinghy. She saw a man’s body bobbing in the water. She managed to pull him out of the water and was relieved that he was still breathing. Roma noticed that he had many cuts and bruises, which needed to be cleaned. She filled a paper bag from her backpack with water. She then lit one of the candles from the emergency pack of the dinghy and placed the paper bag over the flame. Instead of burning, the paper bag transferred all the heat to the water. Within minutes, the water was boiling. She cleaned the man’s wounds, and the next morning, they were rescued by the coast guard. The man was much better and thanked Roma for saving his life!
