Sloths are medium-sized mammals, native to Central and South America. Sloths are known for being slow-moving, and only move when necessary. Depending on the species, its coat is brown, grey, white or yellow or a distinct combination of these. Their bodies are often home to a number of other non-parasitic organisms including moths, beetles, cockroaches, ciliates, fungi and algae.
