A king remarried after his wife had died. But this wife was cruel. The king had a daughter named Snow White. The queen did not like her. The queen had a magic mirror to which she would ask: “Mirror, mirror on the wall, Who is the fairest of all?” The mirror would reply: “You, O Queen, are the fairest of all.” But one day, the mirror replied: “You, O Queen, are fair, it is true, But Snow White is fairer now than you.” The queen got jealous and ordered for Snow White to be killed. But she escaped. She came across a house which belonged to seven dwarfs. She started living with them. But the queen found this out. She disguised herself and gave a poisoned apple to Snow White. As soon as Snow White ate the apple, she fell down dead. The dwarfs placed her in a glass casket. One day, a prince saw her. He opened the coffin and kissed her. And lo! The witch’s spell was broken. They fell in love and got married.
