Snowy, the snail, lived in a beautiful swamp along with many other animals and insects. Snowy was a happy snail except he did not like moving slow. One day, Snowy was very sad. He was sitting on a small rock, sulking. Just then, Sarah, the butterfly, flew past him. Seeing Snowy sad, she asked, “What’s wrong, Snowy?” “Everyone in this swamp either walks or flies around quite fast. But I can’t go anywhere because I’m slow. Life is so unfair!” Snowy wailed. Sarah said, “Snowy, that is no reason to be sad. You are different from everyone because of your patient and slow gait. You are quite unique, my friend!” “Yes, Sarah! My mother says that too. I guess you are right!” said Snowy. “Now, let’s not waste time sulking. It’s playtime, Snowy!” said Sarah. Soon, Snowy and Sarah started playing. Snowy felt very happy to have a friend like Sarah.
