At his deathbed, David asked Solomon to be good and follow and respect God, who would guide him always to do the righteous things. After David’s death, Solomon was too busy ruling the people of Israel but knew that he was not experienced. One day he had gone to Gibeon to gift God, and that night in his sleep he heard a voice from the Eternal. God who asked him, “ Solomon! what do you want?” He replied that he wanted some wisdom as he was new and didn’t know anything about ruling. God was pleased and said that he would be one of the wisest and respected Kings. He would soon become rich and live long. However, he had to obey the orders of God. In the morning, Solomon knew that he had a dream but also knew that he had to follow the instructions of God to become successful.
