Sparking Clothes (Physics Experiments)

Have you ever tried to separate clothes that were just taken out of a drier? If so, you most likely encountered static cling. As the clothes were tossed in the drier, the materials rubbed against one another and transferred charges. Clothes that became opposite charged stuck together.
Things Required:
Silk shirt
Woollen sweater
Mirror

Directions:
Put on a silk shirt. Pull a woollen sweater over the shirt.
Find a room that has a mirror. Turn off all the lights and pull down the window shades. The darker the room, the better the effect.
Stand a few feet in front of the mirror. Slowly, roll up you sweater. What do you observe?
This Is What Happens:
As the woollen sweater rubbed against the silk shirt, charges were transferred. The shirt became negative in charge. The sweater lost electrons and became positive. The negative shirt and positive sweater attracted each other.
As you lifted the sweater, the charged materials separated. As they were pulled apart, visible sparks jumped out of the tiny gaps. These sparks produced a crackling sound.
