Spinosaurus, also known as the “Spine Lizard”, lived during
the Cretaceous Period.

It was the bulkiest dinosaur that ever existed. Spinosaurus was
even bigger than T-Rex.

The teeth of Spinosaurus looked like knives.

It had a long, narrow skull which looked similar to the skull of a crocodile.

Spinosaurus had an incredible sail on its back that was
made from spike–shaped bones.

It had powerful arms with curved, blade-like claws, which
it used to grab its prey.

Spinosaurus walked mainly on its hind legs.

Spinosaurus spent most of its time in water and was
even known as the “river monster”.

Spinosaurus was a carnivore. A giant shark, lungfish or
sawfish was its favourite meal.

It had a long tail that was flexible and helped it to swim underwater.
