Physical Nature (Earth Dominated)
The face of the person influenced from earth element is square. The persons are of materialistic nature due to dominance of earth element. He is well built. His skeleton system is firm and well developed. Joints between the bones are firm, long and well shaped. Hands, legs are long and strong shoulders appear broad. Forehead and chin are extensive and wide. The persons having square face are potent and impressive. The shape and structure of their body are mostly long and tall.
Square shape face can easily be recognised. If we study the face by geometrical point of view, there are four types of shapes. Various shapes of square face have been shown in figure 13.

Types of the Square Face
(A) Regular Square Face : Shape of regular square face has been shown in figure 9. All four angles of this face are of ninety degree. Both the length and width are equal. Persons having regular square face are physically fit. Their body is well developed and they are tall. Their shoulders are wide and strong. Such persons are mostly engaged in military profession, security services, business, factories, travelling, shipping. They prefer physical work and are disciplined, having commanding nature, balanced, credible, determined, courageous and brave by nature. Such persons always make progress. They are fond of eating, luxurious life style and remain cheerful. They, sometimes become more stubborn, disciplined and strict. They are indulgent by nature. Hastiness, uncaring for others, show of physical capacity, bravery etc. are also found in their nature.
Regular square face has such kind of structure in which all the three zones (mental, practical and basic) get the chance to develop equally. Therefore, balanced characteristics of all the three zones is found in that man. This is why coordination of mental, practical and basic capacities can be seen in these persons in balanced way. The person possessing regular square face is mostly successful in every field of life. Exertion is the part of their life. Such persons are practical rather than emotional. Fond of eating, luxurious life style etc. are the part of their nature due to development of basic zone.
(B) Broad Square Face : On being the face broad, the body becomes fatty and full of corpulent. As a result the body weight also increases. The person having such type of face is similar to the person possessing regular square face. But difference is found in structure of the body and weight. Persons having broad square face are less deceitful. They are soft spoken and comparatively less adamant. They are obedient, polite and cheerful. Their thoughts and intentions are firm and they are credible.
(C) Oblong Square Face : On being the face longer, the flow of thoughts and sharpness of mind is increased. The persons having regular square face are firm determined whereas the persons possessing oblong square face are ambitious. Such persons accomplish their work with due care and intelligence by keeping in view the situation. They are impatient, but have understanding capacity. Therefore, such persons do not do any work in haste; on the contrary they first think about the situation and then start work. But when the persons having oblong square face gets excited, their understanding power becomes nothing. In such case they are only for their target. Oblong square face is the symbol of improved mental capability, ambition and diligence. Such persons also use their mental capacity as well as physical capacity for achieving their goal, but they are lazy if they are tall. Such person think and plan for more, but are unable to implement their plans due to lethargy.
(D) Irregular Square Face : Mental and basic zones are in contracted form in irregular square face. But practical zone is well developed; as a result the man having this face is very practical in nature. He may be mentally and physically ill and undeveloped. This combination is found rarely. The persons having irregular square face are suffered from various diseases. They are irritable, choleric, short tempered, stubborn, having impractical and unbalanced thoughts.
