Stonehenge

The Stonehenge was constructed between 3000 BC and 2000 BC in Wiltshire, England.
The Stonehenge is a ring of standing stones set within a simple earthwork enclosure and was used by prehistoric people to bury their dead. Built of only two types of stones, the larger sarsens and smaller bluestones, the Stonehenge presently is made up of 83 stones in total.

Amazing Fact: The Stonehenge is aligned with the rising and setting of the Sun and was built with a complex understanding of geometry and mathematics.
