One day, Mulla Nasruddin and his friend were walking by the lakeside with their donkeys. “Do you know where the centre of the earth is?” asked Mulla’s friend. “Directly under the right hoof of my donkey,” said Mulla. “What! How can you be so sure?” asked his friend. “Well, if you don’t believe me, you can measure it for yourself,” said Mulla laughingly. Just then, he slipped and nearly fell into a lake, but was caught by his friend. From then on, every time Mulla met his friend, the latter was sure to bring up the incident and make a big deal about it. Mulla could not take it anymore. One day, he led his friend to the same lake and jumped right into the water! “I’m as wet as I would have been if you didn’t save me that day. So, please stop reminding me about it!” he shouted. His friend was embarrassed at his behaviour.
Stop Reminding me
