SUBHASH CHANDRA BOSE

Subhash Chandra Bose was a great son of Mother India. He is known as “Netaji”. He was born on February 3, 1897 at Cuttack in Orissa. His father was Mr. Jankinath Bose. Subhash Chandra wanted to free India from British rule. So, he joined the freedom struggle. He said to the Indians, “Give me your blood and I will give you freedom.” He became the President of the Indian National Congress in 1938 and 1939. In 1942, he went to Japan to get their help to fight against the British. He formed the Indian National army.
