Subhash Chandra Bose

Subhash Chandra Bose was born on January 23, 1897 in Cuttack. He was a rebellious child right from the birth. He could not tolerate the poor conditions of Indians who were being ill-treated by the Britishers.
He passed the matriculation from Cuttack, thereafter, joined Presidency College, Calcutta. He passed B.A. and then went to England.
After that he passed the I.C.S. examination but since he wanted to serve his nation, so instead of a Civil Services he joined Congress movement to free his country from the clutches of the Britishers. In 1939, he was elected the President of Congress, but later on he resigned.
He went to Germany during the Second World-War and got two years military training there. He raised his own army ‘Azad Hind Fauz (INA)’ for the independence of his nation. He died in a plane-crash. Popularly called Netaji, Subhash Chandra Bose was a true patriot. He lived for India and died for India.
