There are peculiar cup-like features on its wrists and ankles. The sucker-footed bat can travel for about 1.8 km while foraging for food. They are omnivores and their diet largely consists of beetles and small moths. They roost inside the rolled leaves of the palm, in an upright position. A young bat is called a pup, and a group of them a cloud.
