Sugreeva is Crowned King

Sugreeva became king of Kishkindha. Angad was made crown-prince.
The rainy season had set in. Sugreeva assured Rama that he would locate Seeta after the end of the rainy season.
Sugreeva was lost in luxuries. He had forgotten his promise given to Rama who was waiting for the search of Seeta after the end of the rainy season.

Meanwhile, Rama sent Lakshmana to remind Sugreeva of his promise. Seeing Lakshmana angry, Sugreeva recalled his vow. He along with Lakshmana reached Mount Rishyamooka. He ordered all his monkey warriors to be there. Then he divided all his monkey warriors into three segments and decided to send them to the northern, eastern and western directions respectively. Seeta must be in the southern direction.Thinking so, he sent some of his mighty warriors, like Hanuman, Jambvant, Nala and Neela under the command of Angad to the southern direction. The warriors from the eastern and northern directions returned empty-handed after one month.
