Ray and his friends were camping at the edge of the forest. They went to a farmhouse near by where they drank cold milk and ate fruit and sandwiches. A young man, called Alan, who worked on the farm, became their best friend. One day, Alan took the boys to a deeper part of the forest. As the evening wore on, the full moon shone, bright and silver. Suddenly, the boys realised that Alan was behaving strangely. They watched in horror as sharp fangs jutted out of his mouth. His eyes turned yellow, his fingers and toenails curled to become claw-like and long hair sprouted all over his body. The huge creature turned to leap on them. Terrified, the boys ran. Ray remembered the silver coin in his pocket. He threw it into the werewolf’s wide open mouth. The werewolf screamed as if burnt and ran away in pain. Relieved, Ray and the boys went back to the camp safely
