Pears were in season. Gina and David picked some pears and gave them to their mother. Mother said, “Thank you, children! I will bake a tasty dish for you and serve it during tea time.” The children were excited. They kept thinking of the sweet pears. They waited eagerly for tea time. At tea time, they sat down and waited for the dish. Mother came and served them each a big cup cake. It was so delicious to eat those cakes. “Yummy!” exclaimed Gina. David said, “Mother, you are great. These cakes are a delight to eat.” They kept eating away oblivious of the fact that they had got the cake pieces all over their chins, noses, hands and cheeks. Mother just laughed and looked lovingly at her children enjoying themselves.
