Long, long ago, a thirsty pigeon flew to a river to drink water.

While drinking water the pigeon saw an ant floating in the river.
The pigeon thought of saving the ant.

The pigeon plucked a leaf from a tree and flew back to the river.

After reaching near the ant, the pigeon dropped the leaf.

The ant crawled onto the leaf to save its life.

The leaf floated to the bank of the river and the life of the ant was saved.

Saving the life of the ant made the pigeon feel happy and it flew into the sky.

The ant felt grateful to the kind pigeon.

After a few days, a hunter came to the forest for hunting birds.

The ant sitting near its anthill saw the hunter.

Then came the pigeon and sat on a nearby tree.

The pigeon started feeding its chicks. It was unaware of the hunter.

The hunter saw the pigeon and he inched forward towards the tree very cautiously.

The ant understood that the life of the pigeon was in danger. It decided to save the pigeon.

The ant crept fast towards the hunter.

It bit on the leg of the hunter.

At the same time, the hunter fired the bullet. But he missed due to the ant-bite.

Hearing the sound of the gunfire the pigeon flew off the tree.

After biting, the ant jumped off the leg of the hunter.

Crying in pain the hunter sat on the ground and rubbed his leg.

The upset hunter looked at the flying pigeon with a sigh and went away.

In this way the ant saved the life of the kind pigeon.
