Once, there was a fox named Folly who lived with his friend named Fimmy. They always liked to take risks to do adventurous deeds. One day, Fimmy and Folly had a bet and said, “He who makes a lion friend would have a juicy flesh.” Folly became afraid but Fimmy accepted the challenge. Folly tried to warn Fimmy about the danger in befriending such a ferocious animal but he didn’t care. “I’ll show you that the lion is not so dangerous after all,” he declared. So, the next time the lion passed his way, Fimmy approached the lion a little closer than before.
This time, Fimmy did not feel so frightened as earlier. The third time Fimmy came even closer to the lion and even talked with him, asking him about his welfare. “King Lion, I hope to see you again soon,” said Fimmy and shaking his tail, slipped away from there. His fear of the lion had almost gone. He was happy to have overcome his fear at last. He won the juicy flesh.
