Mellisa was a very adventurous girl. She loved to explore the jungle, climb trees and do many other things. One day, Mellisa was climbing up a big oak tree when she was surprised to hear a tiny little voice. It was a small caterpillar. Mellisa was astonished. The caterpillar said, “I have been trying to get down from this tree for ages! I cannot move very quickly, so it is taking me a long time to get down.” Mellisa carried the caterpillar down from the tree and carefully placed him on a leaf. She promised to come back to see the caterpillar soon. But the next time she went out to look for him, the caterpillar was nowhere to be found. Instead, a beautiful butterfly came to her. “Is that you, Caterpillar?” she asked. “I was a caterpillar but have changed into a butterfly,” replied the caterpillar.
