Edward looked at the camera carefully. It was weird. If he clicked a flower in full bloom, the picture showed a withered, dry bud. If he clicked a white horse, the picture would show a black one. One day, Edward went to watch a village play and clicked the pictures of the beautifully dressed fairies and princesses. At home, he was aghast to see the pictures. Instead of fairies, ugly-looking witches stared back. Everyone had been transformed into a wicked creature. In place of the princesses, fat mean ogresses snarled at him. Suddenly, the other strange creatures in the pictures stirred. A witch reached out and grabbed Edward’s throat. He howled in terror and struggled to free himself. Suddenly, she screamed. His silver bracelet had touched her face. She let go and all fell silent. The witches and the ogresses disappeared. The pictures still lay on the table. They were blank now. Edward broke the camera into little pieces and threw it away.
