Molly, the elf, was very excited for her mother’s birthday. However, the little elf was confused about what to gift her mother. So, she called her friends over to her house. Bubby, the gnome, suggested, “Maybe you can buy her a beautiful dress or a perfume.” Molly replied, “Oh! That’s a wonderful idea. But I don’t have that much money in my piggy bank.” Jeremy, the unicorn, said, “Then you can take her to the carnival to ride a roller coaster or take her for a boat‑ride in the river.” “That’s a nice idea, too, but Mom doesn’t like roller coasters and she is afraid of boat rides,” said Molly. Then, suddenly she exclaimed, “Oh! I know what to give Mom.” She ran to her mother when she came home and hugged her. Then, she gave her a lot of kisses. Her Mom said, “Molly, dear! This is the best birthday gift I have ever had.” Molly’s friends clapped for them.
