A long, long time ago, the planets and the stars all went to school. There was a special school for them in the sky and the most famous class in the school was the class of colours. The students of the class were wonderful naughty colours from white to black through red, yellow, blue and all the others.
One day, all colours were enjoying in the class. They were getting trained to be wonderful colours. One morning, there was a great uproar in the sky. Next to their class, some clouds were practising their raining and they created a terrible storm. Everybody was threatened and depressed having no light in the sky. The Sun tried to shine but he failed to cheer up the world. After the Sun, the stars twinkled to cheer up everyone but they also failed.
Now, the only solution to get the happiness back in the Universe was with the help of naughty colours. Though they were too young and not yet trained for anything, the authority decided and chose them only. They went straight to their classroom and told them to do something as soon as possible. The black and white colours hadn’t turned up yet. However, there was no time to lose, so they did not wait for them.
All the other colours ran out and rushed towards the corridor, and flew up into the sky. There, they met the clouds who were ashamed of what they did. On their way up to the clouds, each colour left a splendid trail. Travelling side by side, the combination of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet colour trails were outstanding. The sky was looking amazing with beautiful seven colours that no one had ever seen it before.
Finally, they made everyone happy and the whole world was filled with happiness. The colours felt honoured to be chosen as the official assistants of the Sun. They promised everyone that they would always be there together to cheer up the world.
On that day, the authorities announced that whenever the clouds rained too much, all seven colours–red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet–would come and make a rainbow. A bit later, the black and white colours came and congratulated them for such a wonderful performance. They were little disappointed for not being a part of the rainbow. But they didn’t mind being left out of the rainbow. From then on, they decided to be punctual and responsible. Today, they are very important colours and nothing can be done without them.
Children, God has made everyone special. No one is high or low in the eyes of God. Every creation in the universe plays its part.
