A village was terrified of a tiger. The tiger used to come to the village every day and pick a prey. On the outskirts of the village there stood a tree. On this tree, a young boy sat guarding. Whenever he used to see the tiger coming, he used to beat the drums to warn the villagers. One day, he got fed up of his boring job. He decided to catch the tiger himself. So, one day, he brought a dead snake. When he saw the tiger coming, the boy dropped the dead snake on the tiger. The tiger was petrified of the snake and ran away. After that he never came to the village. The boy was very happy as he no longer had to stand guard on the tree. He spent his time playing with his friends.
