A giant eagle was Prince Oliver’s best friend. He had befriended the eagle during one of his adventures. Impressed with his son’s bravery, the king had appointed him to be the leader of the army. Thus, Prince Oliver protected his father’s kingdom from evil forces. One day, some villagers came to Prince Oliver and told him about an evil giant who had stolen a child from the kingdom. “The one-eyed giant lives in a cave of a mountain. He will kill anyone who tries to save the child. Please help us!” cried the villagers. Prince Oliver set out for the mountain. He called his friend, the giant eagle, for help. He climbed on the eagle’s back and soared to the cave. There, he swiftly flew in and rescued the child. He also shot arrows in the giant’s eye and killed him. Thus, Prince Oliver came to be known as the bravest prince of his land.
