Many years ago, there was no system of transport in the desert. People had to face many difficulties. Then one day, a man saw a huge animal. It was a camel. The man thought, ‘What creature is this? It has a huge hump.’ The camel came and started drinking water from a pool. Soon, other camels came and joined the first camel. The man observed the camels for many days. He said, “These creatures can walk long distances, stay without water for a long time and eat only desert plants. I will tame these creatures and use them for transport.” Since then, the camel carries man and transports goods and is called the ‘ship of the desert’.
