The mock battle that takes place every September is a festival for the people of Gaudix and Baza, where they start a ‘war’ for the statue. Since the statue was found by a Gaudix person but in Baza, the festival states that on that day a Gaudix person will get a chance to get the statue for his town, but his goal is to arrive at the Baza mosque and staying clean.
