Long ago, a frog loved to sing. He had a beautiful deep voice. He liked nothing more than singing happily all day. One day, he sang so much that his throat got hoarse. So, he tied a scarf around his neck to keep his throat warm. He also drank hot water with ginger and honey to get his voice back. For many days, his throat remained as it was. Then, one fine day, it was well again. One day, as he was singing, some frogs living in a pond, heard him. They shouted out to him, “We have our own chorus. Would you like to join us? Your deep voice is just what we need!” The frog was ecstatic! He immediately said yes and joined them. From then on, he and the other frogs sang together in wonderful harmony every night and the animals from all around came to listen to them.
