Jason got two Christmas trees by mistake. He wondered as to what he would do with them. Then, he had an idea. His parents smiled as he explained his plan. That night, father placed one tree in the barn. Christmas morning came. Jason went to the barn. He tied a paper bag of oats to one of the branches of the tree for his horse. Then, he made up several bundles of hay and tied those on the other side of the tree for the cow. Next, he tied a bone to another branch of the tree for his dog. Under the tree, he placed a bowl of milk for kitty. And before long, each animal had been led to its own Christmas breakfast. It was indeed funny to see them all happy and eating and drinking with such an appetite. And what a noise there was! It sounded as if they were saying, “Merry Christmas to all!”
