In the Benwen School of Sorcery, Martha was the worst student. However, Martha had one talent. She could understand the language of the crows. One day, Martha sat in the room all alone trying to memorise a spell, when a crow cawed from afar. Martha heard the crow say something terrifying, so she ran to tell her teachers. But they would not believe her. At night, while all the other students enjoyed the apple pie, Martha refused to eat. She then waited in the darkness at the school hall. By midnight, a group of ugly witches entered the school. “They will all be unconscious because of the potion I mixed in the pie,” said one. However, before they could proceed, Martha caught them by surprise and turned them into frogs. The next morning, when the teachers found the frogs, Martha told them about the plan of the outcast witches to take over the school. All the teachers praised her.
