A flock of crows lived in a forest, far away from the sea. They had never seen the sea. One day, they flew very far, and reached the sea-shore. They were very surprised to see the sea- waves. One crow said, “The water is calling us to play.” Another said, “Let us all play with those waves. Aren’t they fascinating?” So, all the crows rushed towards the waves. Suddenly, a big wave washed over the crows. Some of them were dragged into the water. The others flapped about on the sea-shore. The crows got angry and said, “Let us punish the sea by drinking it up!” Each crow drank as much as possible, but the sea was not affected. Instead, the crows felt sick due to the salty water of the sea. Finally, the crows grew tired and quietly flew back home.
