The day before an examination is interesting in many ways. On this day, the examinees are in a different mood. Everyone is in a state of uncertainty as to what would be the questions in the examination. Everyone tries his best to prepare himself for the crucial hours. The candidates for the examination put their heart and soul into studies. They prepare a subject in which they are required to take the test. Preparing the questions, notes and points of important questions is the normal but gruelling routine of all the examinees. A bundle of books is read by the examinees in order to get good marks in the examination. But even then they are not sure about their success. During the night before examination, much care is taken. The students revise their course thoroughly and try to recollect the questions. They also make guesses. They study very carefully during the night. They do not study until late in the night because they want to have some sleep; otherwise they may get confused during the examination. A day before an examination is a day of not elevated spirits and delightful mood but it is a day of disturbed mind. One does not feel like enjoying. A feeling of sadness and depression prevails upon the students.
