The King heard of the death of Naboth and quickly took the possession of his farm. He thought of taking a small walk in his new garden and enjoyed the fresh fruit there. Meanwhile far off, God asked Elijah to go to Ahab who was in his new field and asked him to convey a message on his behalf. Ahab was surprised to see Elijah who said that God would soon destroy his family and his wife would die the way she put the innocent man to death. Even before the King could apologize the shadow disappeared. He realized his mistake. However, it was too late for that. Later, he was killed in the battlefield of the Syrians.
