Once, there was a blind lion. A woodcutter healed the blind lion with some herbs. Both became very good friends. The lion hunted every day and gave a major share to the woodcutter. The woodcutter was very happy. He did not have to work anymore and enjoyed life. Time passed by. One day, the lion joked, “You are so healthy that I feel like eating you.” The woodcutter got scared and decided to kill the lion. One day, he laid a trap for the lion. The lion fell into the trap and was killed immediately. After a few days, the woodcutter found some gold under the lion’s grave. The woodcutter took the gold and became very rich after that. But he could not forget what he had done to the lion. He repented over his actions for as long as he lived.
