The Devil’s Sea

The Devil’s Sea (also known as the Dragon’s Triangle or Pacific Bermuda Triangle) is one of the 12 Vile Vortices, located near the Japanese coast in the Pacific Ocean, where the pull of the planet’s electromagnetic waves is the strongest. The Chinese believed that there was a huge dragon in the sea that pulled ships and aircraft. In 1952, the Japanese sent out a research vessel, the Kaio Maru No. 5, to investigate, but the vessel and its crew of 31 people disappeared. The Japanese government then declared the place unsafe for marine voyage and transport. The Dragon’s Triangle has volcanic and seismic activity; small islands in the area frequently disappear and new islands appear.
