An idol-maker made a very beautiful idol. He put the idol on his donkey to deliver it to his customer. It was a very exquisite idol and the passers-by were admiring it. They bowed in front of the idol and prayed. The foolish donkey thought that the people were bowing to him. He became proud and decided not to move from the place where he was being given so much respect. The idol-maker tried his best to move the donkey but the donkey did not budge an inch. So, the idol-maker picked the idol and carried it himself. After a while, the donkey realised that no one was paying any attention to him. The crowd was following his master. He realised that it was the idol they were bowing down to. Realising his mistake, he ran after the idol-maker.
