Once, there was a merchant. He had many donkeys. But these donkeys were very lazy and did not like to work. One day, the merchant loaded a donkey with the sacks of salt. While crossing a river, the donkey slipped. All the salt got dissolved in the water. The donkey was happy as he had no load to carry. In the evening, he told all the other donkeys about his experience. All the donkeys decided to slip in the water to lessen their load. Next day, the merchant loaded another donkey and took him. But on the way, the donkey slipped purposely in the water hoping to lighten his load. But unknown to him, the sacks contained cotton. As soon as water entered the sacks, the cotton became heavy. The poor donkey had to carry the heavy sacks and cursed his fate.
