Fanny Duck lived in a pond. Bunny Rabbit lived in a burrow close by. Both were good friends. One day they were playing together when something flashed past them. Fanny asked, “Did you see that, Bunny? It was beautiful! What was it?” “I am going to find out,” said Bunny. So, Bunny went off quickly towards the pond to see what it was. But Fanny walked slowly and took her own time. She sighed sadly, “He has such strong legs. I can never move that fast.” They saw the mysterious creature sitting on a tall reed. Bunny said, “Fanny, I cannot swim.” So, Fanny went in the water. She was happy that she was also good at something. She saw the creature and asked, “Who are you?” The creature replied, “I am a dragonfly.” Fanny took the dragonfly to introduce it to Bunny. All three became good friends and played together.
