Origin
This proverbial saying, first recorded in English in 1605 (in William Camden’s book of proverbs), is so familiar that it is often shortened to ‘early bird’, a term also used in the sense of “early riser”.
Explanation
An early bird gets the worm. The one who arrives first has the best chance for success. The person who takes the earliest opportunity to do something will gain the advantage over others.Whoever arrives first has the best chance of success; some opportunities are only available to the first competitors. It means that if you do something early or before anyone else, you will have an advantage and be successful.
This proverb is used for telling you to act early or right now to be successful.Success comes to those who prepare well and put in effort. An early bird means the one who arrives early and especially before possible competitors. It is said to advise someone that he will have an advantage if he does something immediately or before anyone else does it.
