Henny Hen was looking around for food when she found something in the farmyard. It was round, big and blue. Henny walked slowly around the big blue thing. She sniffed it, tapped it with her beak and listened. Then she thought, ‘It looks like an egg. I will keep it warm until it hatches.’ So, Henny settled down to wait for the egg to hatch. She waited and waited but nothing happened. As she inspected the egg closely, it fell and began to bounce away. Henny was petrified and ran after the egg. Suddenly, the farm dog Brad saw the egg and caught it between his paws. He said, “I have been looking for it all day. Thank you for finding it.” Henny exclaimed, “I did not know that dogs laid eggs!” Brad started laughing and said, “It is not an egg. It is my playing ball!”
